Introduction

Computer memory is used for temporary storage and calculations. Your laptop's speed is partly determined by the amount of RAM it has. Replace or add more RAM to give your laptop an extra boost in speed.

  1. Remove all all twelve 6 mm long screws on the back of the laptop using a Phillips #1 screwdriver. Apply a lot of pressure to prevent the screws from stripping.
