À l'aide d'une pièce de monnaie, faites pivoter la vis de verrouillage de la batterie de 90 degrés dans le sens des aiguilles d'une montre.

Dévissez les trois vis cruciformes espacées régulièrement sur la paroi arrière du compartiment de la batterie.

Retirez les 3 vis suivantes :

Une vis cruciforme #00 de 11 mm au milieu du boîtier
-
Deux vis cruciformes #00 de 14,5 mm.

En commençant près de l'écran et en vous rapprochant de l'avant de l'ordinateur, soulevez le boîtier supérieur en faisant levier. Il est maintenu par des clips sur le côté au-dessus du lecteur optique. Ceux-ci s'ouvriront sous l'effet d'une ferme pression de levier.

Faites attention en soulevant le boîtier supérieur. On se coupe facilement le bout d'un doigt. C'est le sacrifice que les dieux Mac exigent parfois de ceux qui tiennent à exécuter leurs propres réparations.

Saisissez la languette en plastique blanc attachée au disque dur et tirez-la vers la gauche pour ôter le disque dur de l'ordinateur.

Dévissez les 3 vis suivantes :
-
Deux vis cruciformes de 3 mm à côté du haut-parleur droit.
-
Une vis cruciforme de 6 mm fixée à travers un trou dans un dispositif en plastique au-dessus du caisson de basse.

Avec une spatule (spudger), déconnectez soigneusement le câble du microphone de la carte mère. Travaillez d'un côté à l'autre et faites sortir lentement le connecteur de sa prise en le remuant.

Maintenez l'écran d'une main tout en retirant les vis de la charnière gauche.

Retirez les 3 vis suivantes de la charnière gauche :

Une vis cruciforme de 6 mm avec un plus petit diamètre à droite.

Une vis cruciforme de 6 mm avec un plus grand diamètre au milieu .

Une vis cruciforme de 10 mm à gauche.

Ôtez la charnière gauche de l'ordinateur.

Peel up the small black rubber cover from the right side of the heat sink.

Disconnect the two newly-revealed temperature sensor connectors and the fan connector from the logic board.

Remove the following 6 screws:

One 3 mm Phillips on the right side of the fan.

One 6 mm Phillips on the left side of the fan.

Four 9 mm Phillips securing the heat sink to the lower case.

Hold the heat sink with one hand and the fan with your other hand, and lift the heat sink and fan assembly out of the computer. The fan is attached to the heat sink only with a strip of black felt tape, so be sure to remove both parts as a unit

Remove the two Phillips screws securing the MagSafe board and the left speaker to the lower case.

Use a spudger to rotate the MagSafe board up and out of its housing. It may be helpful to pull the lower case out slightly to provide additional clearance.

Two 7.5 mm Phillips from either end of the left I/O frame.

Lift the left I/O frame up and out of the computer. Pay attention to the thin metal EMI fingers, as they may catch as you remove the left I/O frame.

One 7.5 mm Phillips securing the loop in the right speaker cable to the metal frame.

Deroute the right speaker and Bluetooth antenna cables from their slots in the lower case.

Pry the Bluetooth board up from the lower case.

Lift the subwoofer, right speaker, Bluetooth board, and attached cables out of the computer.

Carefully lift the hard drive connector out of the case slightly, and turn it over to reveal the IR sensor connector beneath. Use a spudger to flip up the plastic hinge of the tiny bar holding the cable in place.

Slide the orange IR sensor cable out of its connector, and lift the hard drive connector out of the computer.

These are excellent instructions. To replace just the keyboard/top case will take about 15 minutes.
To replace the bottom case will take about two hours.
In addition to the coin, phillips head screwdriver and spudger, I recommend working on a large towel, and having some scotch tape.
Working on the towel will save you time and aggravation if a screw gets away from you - it won't go very far.
Print out the instructions from the PDF document. As you remove the screws, us a piece of tape to grab the screws, fold over part of the tape to keep them secure, and then tape the screws to the step in the disassembly process.
When you get to the point of reassembly, your parts will be right there at the step as you need them.
