  1. Motherboard, Battery: étape 1, image 1 de 1
    • Flip over the phone so that the back is facing up.

    • Pressing your thumb against the back cover, slide the cover off of the phone.

    • Remove the phone's battery.

    • Use a plastic opening tool to pry out the two tabs on the top corners of the battery compartment.

    • Gently pull off hinge cap piece from the the top of the phone.

    • Using a T6 Torx Screwdriver, remove the four 7.62mm screws around the corners of the battery compartment.

    • Open the phone and turn it on its side.

    • Using a plastic opening tool, run along the seam located around the sides of the phone to pop the clips holding the casing to the frame.

  7. Motherboard: étape 7, image 1 de 1
    • Using your hand, gently pull of the back panel from the bottom half of the phone.

  8. Motherboard: étape 8, image 1 de 1
    • Close the phone and place it on a flat surface.

    • Using a plastic opening tool or your finger, lift up the motherboard from the bottom casing.

    • Be careful when pulling up the board, as there is still a ribbon cable attached to the back of the board.

  9. Motherboard: étape 9, image 1 de 1
    • On the underside of the motherboard, find the ribbon cable that attaches the board to the rest of the phone.

    • Using a plastic opening tool, slowly detach the ribbon cable connector, then pull the motherboard away from the frame.

To reassemble your device, follow these instructions in reverse order.
