  9. Objective:  remove two small black screws from the back of the phone.
    • Objective: remove two small black screws from the back of the phone.

    • These two (2) screws help hold the phone together. They need to be removed by a Phillips Hex 2mm screwdriver,

    • The two plastic pieces are clipped onto the phone as covers. They are located at the top and the bottom of the phone.

    • These four (4) screws help hold the phone together. Use a Phillips Hex 2mm screwdriver

    • The phone is now held together by the casing alone. You need to pop the two halves apart.

  19. INSTRUCTION: Use the iFixit tool like a crowbar to pry apart the front and rear halves of the  casing. They will pop apart.

  20. Now you are ready to access the internal circuits of the phone.
