What about the digitiser? This video stops before showing how it can be removed

Stephane Barbier - Réponse

lcd with digitizer are combined together with glue, it is difficult to replace front digitizer only, if you have broken front glass, you need to replace full front screen including lcd with digitizer, Moto g4 plus lcd screen repair guide is available later today, you can follow it here: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=6qdwuU0o...

What about the USB port? It's still attached to the motherboard in this video.

Matthew - Réponse

It's difficult to remove it. Need to do a micro welding to replace the USB port.

I know it might be too late for your case, but if someone needs it I found this one:

Is all that tape necessary to keep or can it be discarded?

Christopher Pan - Réponse

You had better keep them all and put then back when reassemble.

Note - I was able to disassemble using Torx T4, not T3

Use a good quality tool kit, such as the iFixit Mako 64 bit set from Pimeroni

ttps://shop.pimoroni.com/products/ifixit-64-bit-driver-kit

Ensure that the T3 bit is fully located in the screw head - light pressure, slight twist to locate, push in and maintain pressure while turning. If the bit is not properly located then you risk striping the screw head or driver.

The screws are really tight, after several attemps ive only did one, the rest seem impossible to unscrew. Im using a T3 type as recommended, any advice?
