Introduction
Replacing the Exhalation Flow Sensor should be relatively quick and easy. There are no tools needed in this replacement. Make sure to give yourself time to thoroughly read through the instructions.
For more information on replacing the exhalation flow sensor, please refer to page 4-2 in the service manual.

Turn off ventilator before starting this repair.

Shut off or disconnect the air and oxygen gas supplies before starting this repair.

To avoid damaging equipment, always use standard electrostatic discharge (ESD) precautions

Put on an ESD wrist strap or ESD gloves

Open the Front Panel Door on the lower left front of the ventilator to expose Exhalation Valve EXH2105A and Flow Sensor FLS2101P.

Remove the Exhalation Valve EXH2105A by releasing the retaining latch.

Disconnect the Flow Sensor Cable CBL2123P from the plastic body of the Flow Sensor FLS2101P by pulling cable straight up. Do not twist.

With a twisting motion, pull the plastic Flow Sensor FLS2101P away from the outlet of the Exhalation Valve EXH2105A.

To reassemble your device, follow these instructions in reverse order.
