On the left handle, there is the friction gear shift. While moving the pedals with your foot, turn the gear shift up to the lowest gear.
On the right handle, there is the seven speed gear shift. While moving the pedals with your foot, turn the gear shift down to the lowest gear.
Shift the chain onto the smallest rear cassette cog (the one farthest from the rear tire) and the smallest front chainring (the one farthest from the pedal).

Using your left hand, grab the top metal bar of the frame between the handles and the bike seat. Use your right hand to help flip the bike.
Flip bike upside down so the bike seat and handles are resting on the ground and the bike is level.

Adjust the wrench to fit the size of the bolt holding the tire in place.
Once the wrench fits properly, place the wrench on the bolt. Turn the wrench to the left to loosen the bolt using your right hand while the left is holding the tire in place. Remove the wrench and keep repeating until the bolt comes off.
Repeat the last step for the bolt on the opposite side of the rear bike tire.

Using your left hand, push the rear derailleur forward an inch or two to loosen the chain.
Move the chain out of the way of the tire axle.

Use your right hand to keep pushing the rear derailleur forward and grab the tire with your left hand.
Slowly lift the tire up with your left hand and remove tire from frame.
Be careful with the chain because it can get caught if it was not moved to the lowest setting properly.

Use your non-dominant hand to squeeze the tire and lift it as much as you can to allow room for the tire lever.
Using your dominant hand, hold the tire lever and push it underneath the tire so it is flat against the rim.
Insert the second tire lever about six inches from the first, slide it under the tire, and lift to pop the tire over the rim.
Repeat the last step one more time and then you can slide the second lever along the inside of the tire and the rim until the tire is out of the rim.

Locate the air valve, and with your left hand, lift the tire up and away from the rim.
Use your right hand to pull the tube and the air valve up and out from underneath the tire. Pull the tire to the side of the tube to pull it out.
Once the air valve is out, pull the rest of the tube out from underneath the tire. Pull the tube towards you while rotating the rim and tire until the tube is completely out.

Inflate the tube with half a pump of air.
Locate the hole in the rim for the air valve. Hold the tire with your left hand and align the new valve with the hole using your right hand.
Place the valve system in the hole and make sure the tube fits.

Move the tire back from the rim with your left hand and squeeze the tube underneath the tire with your right hand to insert the new tube.
Make sure that the new tube is not outside of the rim and is laying flat so it does not get cut or damaged when inflated.
It helps if the rim is lying flat on the ground so that the tube is easier to put in place.

Use your hands to push the tire up and back into the rim with the tube inside. Keep doing this until it gets difficult.
Place a tire lever underneath the tire and push up, forcing the tire into the rim.
Repeat the last step until the tire is completely in the rim.

With your left hand, grab the top and bottom of the chain and move it towards the gears while lowering the tire with your right hand.
Drop the bottom of the chain so the axle of the tire rim is in the middle of the chain.

Lower the tire unit so the axle is back in place.
Release the chain and make sure it is in the correct spot.
Make sure the chain is in the lowest gears by turning the pedals until the chain adjusts itself.

Place the bolt on the axel of the tire on each side.
Place the wrench on the bolt. Use your right hand to turn the wrench to the right to tighten the bolt while your left hand holds the tire in place.
Remove the wrench and repeat until the bolt can not get tighter.
Repeat this last step for the opposite side axel.

Spin the tire so the air valve system is close to the ground.
Unscrew the cap off the valve system.
Open the lid of the bike tire pump, place it on the air valve system, and close the lid.
Push the pump handle up and down to inflate the new tube to the correct PSI.
PSI is located on the box of the new tube. Do not over inflate the tube because it will pop the new tire.
