  2. Start by carefully removing the remaining broken glass parts from the Philips Hue lightbulb. On this example, glass parts have already been removed. Then use your Groove Joint Pliers to gently crush and remove the screw thread contact of the IKEA lightbulb. Once removed, you'll be able to extract the LED controller using your fingers. You might have to use a pliers again.

  4. The bulb is sealed by the plastic & metallic body. Firmly use Cutting Pliers to cut and remove the body. You will only need to break the plastic layer in order to free the bulb.

Can't wait to try it! I really didn't want to lose this color hue bulb, so this is a great way to extend the life of these bulbs
