  5. To remove the battery, remove the two pieces of electrical tape holding it down. Then begin gently prying underneath it and around the edges with your plastic opening tool. This will pull it off of the adhesive keeping it in the case.

  6. To remove the antenna, simply remove the tape that is securing it in place.

  8. Unclip the ribbon cables from the motherboard by lifting up on their latches (the black portions that the cables feed into) and gently pulling the cables. Do not use force to try and remove the cables. The latch may not be lifted up all the way, and using force can separate the cable from its connector. This can damage important components of the tablet.

Conclusion

To reassemble your device, follow these instructions in reverse order - replacing all tapes and adhesives as you proceed.
