Introduction
This guide provides steps that you should follow in order to replace a broken window blind slat.
Since they are a common type of shade, small window blinds are commonly made of cheap plastic that can easily be damaged. A damaged or broken slat can limit the functions of the window blind, preventing you from opening and closing it, or raising and lowering it.
To ensure that this guide is suitable for your problem, verify that the slats of your window blind are not made of a very thick plastic. This is because steps 2 and 4 of this guide require the use of 8-inch Westcott scissors, which are not ideal for cutting through thick plastic.
Before beginning this guide, make sure that the room or area you are in is well lit.
