Insert a small spudger or fingernail into the tab that is located on the power button side of the phone and then try to pry up.

After the initial lift, go around the edges of the back cover lifting it up to release.

To remove the battery, lift up on the thumb tab located on the bottom right corner of battery bay.

Insert the new battery in the reverse order from taking out the battery, ensuring the metal contacts from the phone are touching the flat metal contacts on the battery. Then place another edge of battery in the bay.

To reassemble your device, follow these instructions in reverse order.
