Introduction
Is your Samsung Galaxy Tab S 10.5 suffering from a cracked screen, dead pixels, or an unresponsive touch display? These issues can make using your tablet nearly impossible, but replacing the screen assembly is a cost-effective way to restore your device to full functionality.
The display assembly is responsible for both the visual output and the touch interface. A faulty screen may show vertical lines, black spots, or simply fail to light up at all.
Before using this guide, ensure that the display issues aren't caused by a software glitch by performing a hard restart. If the screen is shattered, cover the entire glass surface with clear packing tape to prevent glass shards from falling out and to protect your fingers.
This tablet is held together with tight clips and adhesive, so patience is key to avoiding further damage.
Before beginning, power off your tablet completely and follow the prerequisite guide to remove the back cover.
