Introduction
This is a guide detailing the removal and replacement of the headphone jack for the Samsung Galaxy XCover Pro (SM-G715U). The headphone jack allows the device to output audio to wired headphones or connect to aux, and replacement may be necessary if the phone does not detect headphones, audio cuts in and out, or sound only plays on one side. Make sure there is no debris or dust inside the headphone jack, as buildup can block proper connection. Also test with different headphones to rule out accessory issues. There are other causes as well, such as faulty headphones or damaged cables. Before starting, power off the device, remove the back cover and battery, and work carefully to avoid damaging internal components. After completing the guide, reconnect everything securely, reinsert the battery, and reassemble the phone, then test the headphone jack using a known working pair of headphones. If problems persist, the issue may be deeper within the motherboard or audio circuit and may require professional repair.
