Shark Wandvac Power Pet WV410 Filter Cup Replacement

Introduction

The filter cup is a black cup with holes in which the fabric filter sits inside. Its purpose is to allow small debris to go through the fabric filter. After each use, small bits of dust may become lodged within the holes of the filter cup, which means it's time for some cleaning. To do this, you must look inside the dust cover and open up the filter cup to remove the current filter inside.

Follow this guide to replace the filter cup of your Shark Wandvac Power Pet WV410.

Before you begin, make sure that your vacuum is off, disconnected from the charger, and remove the battery.

    • Squeeze the tabs at the base of the handle to release the battery from the vacuum.

    • Pull the battery straight out from the bottom of the device.

    • Push down on the yellow release tab to open the dust cover.

    • Firmly pull the filter box forward to reveal the filter opening.

    • Lift the metal ring and pull the fabric filter out of the filter box.

    • Flip up the filter cup and push down with your thumbs towards you.

    • You will hear a pop when it is successfully released.

    • Remove the cup.
