Sony Action Cam HDR-AS15 O-Ring Replacement

Introduction

If you find your waterproof case not as watertight as you had hoped, you might want to replace the O-ring. You will need a tool to pry the O-ring from the case.

    • To open the case, push the yellow "Open" tab located at the bottom of the case.

    • Pull out on the yellow tabs as indicated by the circles in the photo to unlock the lid. This may be a little tricky!

    • Then, remove the lid.

    • Take the plastic opening tool and wedge it between the O-ring and the groove.

    • Then, pry the O-ring until it is out of the groove.

    • Now that the O-ring is out of the groove, remove the O-ring from the lid.
