Introduction

If the monitor or screen is broken, the monitor needs to be detached from the device.

  1. Remove the five exposed 7.9 mm phillips screws with the spudger.
    • Remove the five exposed 7.9 mm phillips screws with the spudger.

    • Punch through the warranty sticker with the spudger and remove the screw underneath.

  2. Remove the rubber feet with the screwdriver.
    • Remove the rubber feet with the screwdriver.

    • Remove the screws that the rubber feet were covering.

  3. Lift up the cover gently.
    • Lift up the cover gently.

    • The tray is still connected to the base with wires.

  4. Remove the wires with tweezers by gently pulling on the base they are attached to.
    • Remove the wires with tweezers by gently pulling on the base they are attached to.

  6. Use your hand to remove the small back cover. Use your hand to remove the small back cover.

  7. Remove the two 0.473" pan head screws.
    • Remove the two 0.473" pan head screws.

  8. The screen should now detach from the main device.

    • The screen will still be connected by the wires.

  9. Remove the wires attached to the white base by using the tweezers. Remove the wires attached to the white base by using the tweezers.
    • Remove the wires attached to the white base by using the tweezers.

  10. Do the same with the wires attached to the black base. Do the same with the wires attached to the black base.
    • Do the same with the wires attached to the black base.

  11. The screen should now be completely separated from the main device.
    • The screen should now be completely separated from the main device.

Conclusion

To reassemble your device, follow these instructions in reverse order.
