If your GEHEN Portable Clip-On Fan is no longer able to turn on when clicking the button or if the fan is unable to charge despite having it plugged in, perhaps it is time to replace the battery. Over time, lithium batteries can begin to lose their efficiency or even stop working altogether, making the GEHEN Portable Clip-On Fan unable to function despite the rest of the components being fully functional. Using a couple of tools, we will go over the steps necessary to replace the battery to extend the shelf life of the GEHEN Portable Clip-On Fan. Along with changing the battery, we will also go over the steps necessary to properly dispose of the old battery since simply throwing the batteries away in the trash poses a fire hazard.

Warning: in the event that one or both of the batteries inside the GEHEN Portable Clip-On Fan are visibly swollen when replacing; carefully remove the battery and place the battery directly into a lithium-ion fire & smoke containment bag if you have one
