[* black] Withred] Locate the keyboard removed, you will see a 1.5 x 7mm,7mm PH00 screw at the bottom right of the keyboard housing. This screw locks into place the slide seen to the left.
[* black] Unscrewred] Remove this screw fully, and set it on the sidescrew. Note that this is the only 1.5x7 mm screw in the entire laptop, so it is very important to keep track of it.
[* black] Place a screwdriver or other firm tool with a fine tip inside the hole atto the other endleft of the slide. Pushing thisscrew hole. Push all the way to the left to unlock the slideslide.

will take a good bit of force to move the slide, as it unlocks a series of clips underneath the trackpad plate. Make sure the slide is fully to the left in the "unlocked" position.
