[title] Starting the repair: Cleaning the solder
[* black] ToNow it is time to clean the old soldersolder. To do this, use a desoldering braid overto remove excess solder for the pads where the old capacitors were removedcapacitor group you are replacing. Put the desoldering braid on top of the pad, and heat it up with a soldering iron. The solder will go into the wick.

Once all of the old solder has been removedyou can get is clean and the hole can accept a new capacitor, lift it off the pad withdesoldering braid up. It is important to do this while the soldering iron still onbraid is hot or it will stick to the braidboard.
