-[* black] Pry up the bottom panel by lifting from the device.
-[* black] Pull the bottom up. This may take a bit of force as the bottom is glued to device.
+[* black] The left end has metal tabs beside the center tab where the screw was removed. Gently pry the metal tab away to allow the left end to be lifted as shown in the picture.
+[* black] Original instruction: Perhaps some models would require you to pull the bottom up force as the bottom is glued to device. My 2012 unit did not use glue. It used metal tabs holding the bottom in place.
[* red] Once removed, the battery will now be visible.
