-	[* black] To loosen the ~~backplate~~, lift it very slightly, and gently pull away from the hinge
-	[* black] Flip the ~~backplate~~ open, towards the power button, ~~taking care~~ not to pull on the ribbon cable ~~attching~~ the ~~backplate~~ to the motherboard
-	[* black] Use a plastic opeining tool to detach the side of the ribbon cable connected to the computer, prying up gently on the small black lever at the point of attachment
+	[* black] To loosen the back plate, lift it very slightly, and gently pull it away from the hinge.
+	[* black] Flip the back plate open, towards the power button, making certain to not pull on the ribbon cable that connects the back plate to the motherboard.
+	[* black] Use a plastic opeining tool to detach the side of the ribbon cable connected to the computer by prying up gently on the small black lever at the point of attachment.
