The purpose of this guide is to show how to clean the Epson Stylus Photo 1400. Maintenance should be done several times per year for consistent performance.

  • Caution: Do not touch the gears or any other parts inside the printer.

Turn off the printer.

  • Turn off the printer.

  • Remove all paper and CD/DVD tray.

  • Disconnect power from wall socket.

  • Disconnect USB cord from printer.

Étape 2 Clean the tray feeder.  ¶ 

Use a soft brush to clean the sheet feeder. If there are ink spots or dirt on the inside of the printer, use cloth to clean the plastic area shown. If there are ink spots or dirt on the inside of the printer, use cloth to clean the plastic area shown.
