Turn off the breaker to the bathroom light in your home's circuit panel.
If the fuse is not labelled, you can turn the bathroom fan on and turn off fuses until the bathroom fan is turned off. Be sure to turn off the bathroom fan before starting the fix even though the fuse may be turned off.
