  • If the broken glass makes it difficult to get a suction cup to stick in the next few steps, try folding a strong piece of tape (such as duct tape) into a handle and lifting the display with that.

  • Use a suction cup to lift the upper end of the display until you can insert the tip of an opening pick.

  • Only insert the tip of the opening to not damage any components beneath the display.

  • Slide the opening pick around all sides of the phone to cut the adhesive.

  • Leave an opening pick in each corner of the phone to prevent the adhesive from resealing.

  • Don't lift up the display straight away after you cut the adhesive on all sides. The two display cables are still threaded through the mid frame of the phone.

Si la ventouse adhère mal au cours des étapes suivantes, essayez de plier un épais morceau de ruban adhésif (isolant par exemple) pour former une poignée et soulever l'écran avec.

Soulevez la partie supérieure de l'écran avec une ventouse jusqu'à ce que vous puissiez insérer la pointe d'un médiator en dessous.

Ne soulevez pas l'écran tout droit vers le haut après avoir fait céder l'adhésif de tous les côtés. Les deux nappes de l'écran sont encore enfilées dans le châssis central du téléphone.
