  • Only perform steps 8 and 9 if you intend to do a clean install. Otherwise, you can simply skip these steps and install to your volume containg a previous version of OS X, and it'll do an in-place upgrade.

  • Open disk utility by going to utilities in the menu bar and clicking disk utility.

Führe die Schritte 8 und 9 nur durch, wenn du ein "Clean Install", also eine ganz neue Installation durchführen willst. Anderenfalls kannst du diese Schritte einfach überspringen und in das Volume installieren, welches die vorherige Installation von OS X enthalten hat.

Gehe in der Menüleiste des Finders "Gehe zu", dann zu "Dienstprogramme" und öffne das Festplattendienstprogramm.
