  • If reusing the rear glass panel during reassembly:

  • Use tweezers to peel away any remaining adhesive from both the rear panel and the phone's chassis.

  • Clean the adhesion areas with high concentration isopropyl alcohol (at least 90%) and a lint-free cloth. Swipe in one direction only, not back and forth. This will help prep the surface for the new adhesive.

  • Be sure to turn on your phone and test your repair before installing new adhesive and resealing the phone.

  • Peel away the replacement adhesive's liner, align it with the back of the phone, and press it into place.

  • Remove any remaining liners, and replace the rear glass panel.

  • After installing the rear panel, apply strong, steady pressure to your phone for several minutes to help the adhesive form a good bond, such as by placing it under a stack of heavy books.

  • You can also reinstall the rear panel without replacing the adhesive. Remove any large chunks of adhesive that might prevent the panel from sitting down flush. After installation, heat the panel and apply pressure to secure it. The phone won't be waterproof, but the residual adhesive is usually more than strong enough to hold.

Si vous réutilisez la vitre arrière au cours du remontage :

Prenez une pincette pour décoller les résidus d'adhésif de la coque arrière et du châssis du téléphone.

Nettoyez les zones d'adhésion avec de l'alcool isopropylique à haute concentration (>90 %) et un chiffon non pelucheux. Essuyez dans une direction, sans va-et-vient. Cela contribuera à préparer la surface pour le nouvel adhésif.

Pensez à allumer votre téléphone et à tester votre réparation avant de poser une nouvelle couche d'adhésif et de resceller votre téléphone.

Décollez le film de protection de l'adhésif de remplacement, posez ce dernier au dos de votre téléphone et appuyez dessus pour le faire adhérer.

Retirez tous les films restants et reposez la vitre arrière.

Pressez ensuite votre téléphone fermement et constamment pendant plusieurs minutes pour que la colle adhère bien. Vous pouvez par exemple le poser sous une pile de livres lourds à cet effet.

Vous pouvez aussi remonter la coque arrière sans remplacer l'adhésif. Ôtez les plus gros morceaux d'adhésif qui pourraient empêcher la coque de bien s'emboîter. Après le remontage, faites chauffer la coque et appuyez dessus pour que la colle adhère. Le téléphone ne sera plus étanche, mais l'adhésif restant suffit normalement à le faire tenir.
