Insert an opening tool

  • Starting on the left of the display, near the power button, insert the iMac Opening Tool into the gap between the glass panel and the rear case.

  • The hub on the iMac Opening Tool will keep you from pushing the wheel in too far. If using a different tool, insert it no more than 3/8" (9.5 mm) into the display. You risk severing antenna cables and causing serious damage if you insert the tool too far.

Breng een openingstool in het toestel

Steek je iMac-openingstool in de opening tussen het glazen paneel en de achterste behuizing. Begin aan de linkerkant van het scherm, dichtbij de aan-/uitknop.

De hub op de iMac-openingstool zal ervoor zorgen dat je je tool niet te ver in de computer kunt steken. Als je een andere tool gebruikt, steek deze dan niet verder dan ongeveer 9.5 mm (3/8") in het scherm. Als je dat niet doet, riskeer je het beschadigen van de antennekabels.
