HP EliteBook 840 G3 SSD Replacement

Étape 1 — Turn off and remove battery

As always:

Étape 2 — Remove covers

Turn the notebook over and remove the Gimmi covers with a small screwdriver.

Étape 3 — Unscrew the cover

Now unscrew all 9! screws (see arrow) and carefully loosen the lower shell.

Étape 4 — Install hard drive SSD M.2

Now install the new M.2 SSD and fasten it with the small screw (arrow).

Étape 5 — Install 2.5" SSD or HDD

Now plug the new hard drive into the appropriate connector.

Étape 6 — Close and tightening the cover

Close the notebook with the bottom shell and make sure that everything clicks into place nicely.

Étape 7 — completion

Insert the battery.
