Before you begin

  • Drain your eReader's battery as much as possible before starting your repair. Ideally, it should be fully discharged.

  • Optionally, to drain the battery faster, navigate to More → Settings → Energy saving and privacy and set Automatically go to sleep after and Automatically power off after to Never.

  • When working on or near the battery, don't use sharp metal tools to avoid puncturing and shorting the battery.

  • Unplug all cables and fully shut down your eReader.

  • Your screen should be black and say Powered off.

Prima di cominciare

Scarica il più possibile la batteria del tuo eReader prima di cominciare la riparazione. Idealmente, dovrebbe essere completamente scarico.

Se vuoi, per scaricare la batteria più in fretta, vai su Altro → Impostazioni → Risparmio energetico e privacy e imposta Standby automatico dopo e Spegni automaticamente dopo su Mai.

Mentre lavori sulla o vicino alla batteria, non usare strumenti metallici, per evitare di cortocircuitare o forare la batteria.

Scollega tutti i cavi e spegni completamente il tuo eReader.

Il tuo schermo dovrebbe essere nero e dire Spento.
