Does the computer have a good battery? Does it continually shut off right after being turned on when plugged into a power source? Does the computer get past the HP logo and get to the Windows boot screen? And after the computer screen goes black, does the power light stay illuminated? These questions are all questions that will help isolate the problem.

Honestly with this issue, I would install sierra on the SSD using a different mac. Then I would pull the regular HD and set the default boot to the SSD. During Formatting the SSD, you need to make sure everything is formatted under Mac OS X Extended (Journaled), or you are definitely going to have issues. I would use Android File Transfer, a free tool, you can use the link below to download it onto your PC or Mac. You would have to take the photos from the camera and put them onto your laptop, then use this tool and put them on your tablet. I personally own the same tablet, and I do this for downloading PDF's.
