possible add even 4 TB. You need unsolder NAND chips Samsung K9PHGY8 and remove it with higher capacity. You can take it from any Samsung 960- 950 NVME SSD. Install new and then run MPT scan and you will get full 4 TB SSD on your mac. It is regular SSD and it required only replace NAND chips. Controller (B2E) can be used the same.

(1) turn power On (2) press F9 many times. You will have recovery mode.

Try use WD utility from WD web site. Check it. If it not help then use WINHEX trial version and check if you can see hard drive like physicl device. I got my friend monitor LG 31MU97 with the same problem no power and LED light. I just use PIN point test use service manual for LG 31MU97. And i found what CPU stuck in boot loop with error report. All I needed was the data from the internal ssd, I unsoldered it out and inserted it into the SSD to USB adapter for reading.

Then I read data image from SSD and used the bitlocker recovery key from Microsoft account or TPM as you like.

And the data was recovered.

And I threw away my laptop for recycling. Why should I repair it?
