Hi All, This happened to me recently and none of the comments here really helpful. There is no data connection in the hard drive, mine is 12 pins and 2 pins. However, after googling and YouTubing for sometime, the solution is actually simple, go to the professional (Payam Data Recovery - Brisbane). The guy is really helpful and not trying to cheat your money. They diagnosed it and found my motherboard is broken and has to be replaced. That cost me $50. However, if there is more issue and you got to get them recover your data it will cost you $250-$800. Lucky for me.. I am extremely happy to get my work life back. Backfromthedead
