I doubt I have ever seen a more ridiculous drive replacement system. Having to “unstick” a cable that should never have been glued down in the first place. I have seen some stupid thing when repairing apple computers but this is surely the most stupid thing so far.
No mention of the extra cable needed for temperature control? Is it no longer required?
Where did you get the alternative enclosure from?
