Introduction
This is a relatively easy device to teardown with very few simple components. Recommended tools include a metal spudger and a Philips Head screwdriver.
Ce dont vous avez besoin
-
-
Here is the router. It has a sleek, black look with no visible screws for disassembly.
-
It has four Ethernet LAN output ports and one Ethernet port to wire it into the modem.
-
-
-
Remove the sticker from the bottom of the router and unscrew the base attachment. Once unscrewed, pull the base off of the main part of the router.
-
-
-
-
Find the largest plastic seam on the side of the router and use the metal spudger to pop it out. There is no adhesive, though the snapping piece is relatively secure.
-
-
-
Once all the screws are unscrewed from the base, remove the main cover for the router.
-
The electronics consist of one motherboard without any daughter boards.
-
Most connections on the motherboard are soldered. The only snappable connections are the two white antenna wires along the top.

hey buddy i have the same Belkin N600 DB which i bought in the year 2013. i opened it as you have shown. one thing regarding the “Be careful not to break this outside casing while bending it to find the screws. I accidentally snapped this piece because it is very fragile. “ I THINK IT WAS DELIBERATELY designed to break. that’s ok for me as my router is out of Warranty. But the other thing is that my Router DOSEN’T HAVE THE SECOND ANTENNA WIRE. it only has the wire for the 5ghz frequency. Do you have any idea why? and also one more HELP. My routers WAN PORT is gone. Do you have a way of fixing it, or should I throw it in the Dump?
lesson learnt NEVER BUY ODDLY SHAPED ROUTERS WITH NO VISIBLE SCREWS. Non repairable $@$*.
