DVD Will Not Load
The DVD has no scratches or marks, and the laptop will not read or load the disc
Computer Updated to Windows 8 or 10
Windows 8 and 10 do not have built in DVD playback software included. There are two options to fix the missing software problem. The first way is to download a third party software that can playback DVD’s, for example VLC Media Player. The Second is to purchase the Window’s DVD player app that is sold by Microsoft.
Device Won’t Turn On
When pressing the power button, even with device plugged into battery source, the laptop would not turn on.
Motherboard is Fried

Battery Will Not Hold Charge
When plugged into laptop, it would not give off a charge. Battery was tested to have 0 voltage output.
The Battery Could Have Overheated.

Fuzzy Screen
When laptop turned on, the screen became fuzzy and blurry/distorted.
Resolution Settings are Incorrect
Start by changing the computer’s resolution. Right click and scroll down to “Properties.” Then choose “Display Settings.” Sliding bar will pop up, and enable you to alter the resolution of the screen. When done, choose “apply.”
Video Cable Malfunction

Distorted Audio
Audio signal level is too high for another computer’s component to cope with causing the audio signal to be lost.
Loose Headphone Port
Try switching out the headphones to determine if they are the cause of the sound distortion. Use this guide for an explanation of how to remove headphone port.
Audio Driver Malfunction
Check the audio driver manufacturer’s website for an update/fix for the audio. You can also check the Windows utility to check for the updated version.
Overheating Device
The device gets hotter and hotter over time
Laptop Fan Malfunction
If the fan stops working after you boot up your laptop, try shutting down your laptop and wait for a couple of minutes before starting. If that didn’t help you must replace the fan immediately. Use this guide for an explanation of how to remove the fan.
Over Performing Laptop
If you overcharge the laptop’s battery, this may cause the laptop to overheat, and the battery may need to be replaced. Use this guide for an explanation of how to remove battery.
Exhaust Vent Blockage
You can find the exhaust vent on the back of the laptop. You can use the air in a can to get the dusts out or you can remove the back of the laptop and remove the blockage.
