It is possible that the power cable is loose, or the port is covered in debris. By checking the inner power cable, you will see if it has deteriorated to the point of needing to be replaced.
Not Heating Enough
The coffee maker does not heat the water enough or heats slowly.
Unmaintained Heating Element
Cleaning the heating element inside your coffee maker might improve the speed and quality of how your machine heats water.
Insufficient Power
Verify your device is plugged into its own electrical outlet and ensure it is meeting its voltage requirements.
Defective Heating Element
If the heating element is clean and the device meets the proper power requirements, it is likely that the heating element will need to be replaced.
Carafe Overflowing
The device is overfilling the carafe, possibly spilling onto the counter.
Improper Coffee Grind Size and Amount
If too much coffee grounds are put into the device, it can block the passage of water through the filter, causing overflow. To fix this, try using a smaller amount of coffee grounds or coffee with a coarser grind size.
Improper Filter Basket use
Confirm that the filter basket is open and properly positioned, ensuring that you aren't using more than one filter. Make sure that you are using high-quality filters that are designed to work with your device, as the filter quality may be the cause of overflow.
Improper Carafe Placement
Verify that the carafe is centered directly under the filter basket.
Buttons are Unresponsive
The buttons are not working or are delayed.
Burnt Wires
The internal wires may be burnt from extended use, causing the buttons to be unresponsive.
Malfunctioning Buttons
The buttons or button springs may have broken during use.
Broken Circuit Board
A broken circuit board will make the devices controls unresponsive. To solve this the circuit board may need to be replaced.
Water Inaccurately Flowing Through the Device
Water is not passing through the machine properly.
Improper Carafe Placement
The carafe may not be seated all the way onto the heating element. This could cause the filter basket to remain closed.
Improper Filter Basket Maintenance
Ensure the filter is placed securely on the basket. Cleaning the filter basket might also fix this issue. The filter basket lever may need to be replaced.
Broken or Clogged Shower Head
Water being distributed unevenly over the coffee grounds may be caused by a clogged or broken shower head. The shower head will need to be removed to unclogged. To remove or replace the component follow this guide.
