Computer does not Charge
When the charger is plugged into the outlet and connected to the computer, but it does not charge.
Faulty Charger
Ensure that the charger is plugged in. When plugged into the device, check if the charge light is on in order to indicate that it is charging. If the light is not on, and the charger is plugged in, the charger is faulty. Consider purchasing a new charger for your device.
Faulty Battery (Guide)
If the charger is plugged in and the charger light is on, but it still does not charge, the lack of charging may be because of a faulty battery. Also, if the device only turn on when charging, but dies instantly after removing the charger, it may be due to a faulty battery. Click here for the battery replacement guide.
Display Goes Black
When using your device the display glitches or goes black, while this happens the device is still powered on.
Dimmed Screen
In the case that the display of the device is unusually dark or dimmed, opening the display setting and increasing the brightness may help. If the brightness is not the case and the display is simply black, a possibility could be the lid sensors. Sometimes when closing and opening the computer it may lag. This lag could cause a temporal delay of the display, keeping it completely off even if opened. To solve this close and open the device slowly, allowing it have time to reset the sensor.
Display Is Cracked/Broken (Guide)
If the Display screen is broken in any way that affects the usage of the device. A complete replacement of the Display screen may be a good option. Some examples of this could be a cracked display or the pixels in the display shows vertical or horizontal discolored lines. If this is the case , this display replacement guide may prove helpful.
Devise Overheats
The device may get overly hot to the touch and the CPU could be affected by the large amount of heat, potentially overheating the device.
Improper Air Flow
If the device does not get the proper amount of air it needs to cool, overheating may happen. Ensure that the device is placed on a flat area with no obstructions around or in the air vents. Once this is done re-check the device for overheating when in use.
Dust build-up
If there are no obstructions in the vents, there may be dust build up. In the case that the build up is on the outer vents, you may be able to gently clean the dust with Q-tips. On the other hand, if there is dust build up deep in the fans, you may need to manually clean the dust by opening the computer and clean the dust out of the fan.
Faulty Cooling Fans (Guide)
If there is no restriction in the air flow, a possibility could be a faulty cooling fan. In the case of a damaged fan, the device should notify the user that a fan replacement may be needed in order for the device to properly function. To replace the cooling fan click here.
Computer Will Not Boot
The device may turn on, but it does not fully boot up. Error codes may appear not allowing you to properly use the device.
Not Enough RAM
If the device crashes during normal use, during memory intensive tasks, or beeps and would not boot, then there may not be enough RAM in your device, or it is a bad RAM. A replacement of the RAM may be needed.
Faulty Motherboard (Guide)
In the case that an error code appears; one or more beeps occur; the system locks; or one or more of the ports, expansion slots, or memory modules fails, there may be a faulty Motherboard. To replace the motherboard do to this site.
Devise Does Not Connect to Wifi
Devise may be working as intended , but it cannot connect to any Wifi, even if you have access to the Wifi in order devices.
Issues with home WiFi Network
Check if WiFi router is working properly, if is not working properly reboot the WiFi router and try to reconnect the computer to the router. If the Wifi is working properly, ensure that the Wifi is connected to the correct home router.
Faulty Wifi Card (Guide)
If the WiFi router is working as intended and its working properly in other devices. A possible faulty WiFi card may be the issue. If this is the case replacement of the WiFi card may be needed.

I disagree. Voltage output on the charger port is as described, as tested via VOM. What else could be the problem, connector? There is no light coming on.

I have intermittent contact on power jack. Where is the instructions for replacing the power jack. There is a YouTube video by HP support that shows to replace power jack the battery, Wfi, SSD, main board and screen need to be removed but does not show how to remove any of them
