If your Roccat Vulcan II Mini Air wireless mechanical keyboard won't turn on, follow this troubleshooting guide for possible solutions.
Battery Charge is Low
If your keyboard isn't turning on, make sure it is fully charged. If the battery is too low, it may not function or connect to your device. Alternatively, use the USB-C cable to connect to your device and charge the keyboard while you use it.
Faulty USB-C Connection
Check the USB-C cable connection to ensure the keyboard is properly and securely plugged into the designated port and try reseating the cable or try a different port. If it is not working when connected to your device via USB-C, try a different adapter to make sure the USB-C cord it came with isn't damaged. Lastly, check for physical signs of wear and tear like bent pins or debris. Carefully clean the USB port on the keyboard and your computer with an air blower and anti-static cleaning brush to remove dust or debris.
Faulty Battery
After completing a certain number of charging cycles, the lithium-ion battery powering your keyboard may become less effective. This can result in the battery losing power quickly or the keyboard no longer functioning wirelessly. If you’re unable to charge the battery or notice it draining rapidly, follow this guide to replace the battery in your Roccat Vulcan II Mini Air.
Faulty Motherboard
If the battery has been replaced, is fully charged, and you've tried using your keyboard via the USB-C cord and it's still not working, it may be the motherboard. If the motherboard in your keyboard has failed, your device will not power on and will need to be replaced.
