Background
The Acer Aspire V5-122P-0889 is a budget Windows 8.1 PC that was released in 2013. It is a touch-screen laptop/notebook that sacrifices performance and capability for being a very affordable touch-screen option. While the performance is notably worse than other laptops it does have enough power to do most common tasks, though the extremely low battery life should be noted.
This laptop is not one of the most current Acer Aspire laptops, having been replaced with newer models such as the Aspire E 15 Notebook.
Identification
This model of laptop has the power button on the side, as well as an internal battery. These two features are uncommon to see with laptops, especially the power button being on the side. The notebook's plastic lid has a brushed aluminum look with Acer's logo in the middle towards the right side of the laptop. The hardware inside the laptop can vary slightly depending on model, so please see the links at the bottom of this page if you need more identifying information.
