La Super Nintendo est sortie en Amérique du Nord, en Europe, en Australie, en Asie et en Amérique du Sud entre 1990 et 1993, ce qui en fait la console de jeu de 4e génération de Nintendo.

Les Super Nintendo américaines mesurent 68 mm de haut, 203,2 mm de large et 254 mm de profondeur.

Elles n'ont qu'une seule couleur disponible officiellement, le gris.

Vous pouvez différencier la Super Nintendo américaine de ses homologues européennes et japonaises par son apparence, sa forme et sa couleur.  La Super Nintendo américaine est d'un gris plus clair et a des bords plus définis que les modèles sortis dans d'autres pays.
