Introduction

To replace the screen, you will have to replace the entire frame covering the glass screen itself, not just the glass. You will need to have the glass screen with the frame on it. In this guide, you will need to completely take apart the entire phone to access your glass screen. You will need plenty of space before starting this guide.

To get the back to start popping off, slide the Opening tool into the aux jack as a starting point. Gently slide the Opening tool around the back of the phone to pop off the black casing of the phone.

You have to pop off the black cover the screws were holding on. It is just a snap on, but towards the bottom the charging ports are holding it place.

You will need to disconnect the front and back cameras from the motherboard. To unplug the cameras, take the Black Spudger to separate the snap on. These will just pop right off. Remove the disconnected cameras by simply inserting the Opening tool and pulling them out for both cameras.

Take Battery out. Use the Black Spudger to lift one side and use the Opening tool to keep it lifted there. Use the Spudger to slide around the battery entirely to loosen it up completely. There is a adhesive on the back (Black Shape) of the battery that will make it a little difficult.
