i bought iphone 4s 3 month back from states but nw i was usking it in India and it was unlocked via gevey at 5.0.1 n after few days i updated it to 5.1.1. n then it started showing charging prob like it charges only when it is switched off n if we disconnect it at any particular time(at (like at 50%or so) it doesnt charge again .For charging it again i have to drain the battery first n den only i can charge it .I anyone knows the solution pls help me.

Hi,

First off using a gevey sim is HIGHLY not recommended as problems generally form. There is a solution to unlock the iPhone if you know the original carrier, will post link below. With the battery however, I would try using different power sources (eg. Wall Powerpoint or Computer), also different cords. Another restore wont hurt but if nothing tends to work it might be better to take it to a repairer. But do not insert the gevey after or even during the restore.
