Will not start when turned on
When pc is fired up it is constantly beeping but not starting the boot up process. power light is present and screen is also powered

joanne, remove your RAM and and your battery as well as the AC power. Hold the power button down for about 30 seconds. Then reseat the RAM and the battery and AC Power. Try to restart. Listen to the BEEP and see if there is a pattern to it. Your computer has trouble POSTing, which might be caused by bad RAM. Also just try a minimum of RAM and let us know what happens.

also try both slots with one stick ram at a time

My coputer comes on but askes for a pass word when didnt even put a pass on it what do i do
