Tips for installing microphone boot properly

Does anybody have tips or suggestions for installing the microphone boot properly on my iPhone4?

I know my microphone isn't broken because I reassembled the phone without the boot and it worked fine.

The screws in the phone are starting to strip out pretty badly from taking it apart so many times, so I only have a limited number of opportunities left to reopen the phone.
