Missing battery soldering pad?

I was soldering in a new battery on my 4th gen ipod touch when i realized the middle battery terminal was missing from the board. I orderered a carbon based "non conductive wire glue", if i just apply this where the pad was and stick it to the battery, will it work? or do i need to use a silver epoxy/ink? also, i have a scrap board i can play with that has all three battery terminals, can i somehow rip one off and put it on the other board? thanks a lot

The thing that is important isn't the solder pad, but the connection between the solder pad and the underlying copper trace that leads to it. If the pad is severed, the connection to the trace has been severed.

You can repair this by gently removing some of the green mask near the pad to expose the copper, then solder a thin copper wire to the trace (thin, like a single strand of copper braid) then coil that wire and add a bead of solder to essentially create a new pad.

This works good with some old solder wick. I cut it down very thin. It had enough solder to stick to the connection points I scraped off. A microscope is very handy as well as a new xacto blade.
