I need to know if the USA playstation 4 will work in uk without a converter even though it says 120v on the box and back of the unit...because Ifixit tore one down and it says 120v-240v but we don't know if it was American and if it said 120v at the back

but how do we know the playstation they open is usa?
Th PSU is the same for every PS4. Sony kept the multi voltage PSU for the world market. It does not matter if you open up a PS4 from the USA or from Europe, the PSU is identical.
