The machine just doesnt power up anymore.

No lights or nothing after plugged in and power on. Is there a fuse? Where should I begin in troubleshooting the board?

I found a small micro switch at the top in the rear. It’s like a safety device when you access the bean hoppers. I just pushed it back on the mounting pins. Worked fine since.

Use this great teardown as a way to get to the logic/control board. I do not have the J5, but other Jura manuals and they all show a fuse on the circuit board. Once you take yours apart, post an image of the board and I am sure we can assist you further. Hope this helps, good luck.

I am facing the same issue, my Jura J5 does not power anymore. Thank to your video, I was able to open it, and found two fuses behind the plastic shield. They are OK. I inspected every visible electronic parts, I did not found anything. Are there any other fuse ? Maybe on the top logic board (the one with the rotary switch - I did not had time to open it up) ?

Found the fuse, in the rear bottom left. But it is ok. Problem is somewhere else ....

As oldturkey03 said I would suspect the fuse first. Mine too was not powering up and when it did it would not recognizing the tray being in place. I took it apart looked for any easy electronic problems: fuse, burnt areas indicating over heating or failed electrical components / short, loose electrical connections etc. Never found what the exact problem was but something may have been loose because after doing the above and putting it back together it worked:)

My J9 has a sneaky power on toggle near power cord entry to machine and can be accidentally turned off if moving machine or cleaning counter near machine.

I just bought a used Jura and it would not turn on. I found that the micro switch on the rear of the machine, which is operated by the small access door at the top, had become loose. Pushed it back in place everything worked fine

Having issues with my Jura S8. It wasn't powering up, so I fixed the switches and was able to get the power going but now the screen shows "Jura" and just keeps blinking. Does anyone know what the issues could be?

Does not look very good. My first idea is to check the transformer.
