display touch not working regularly.

hii ,,

i had an accident recently with my iphone 5 in hand due to which i had to change the entire parts inside the phone except the mother board and the lower part including the charging dock and the loudspeaker.

on reassembling with the new parts,the display and the touch pad works when it is open ,but after closing the display and tightening the screws ,the touch pad is not working properly,still the display is good,that is ,at times the touch pad does not show any response.

what could be the possible reason for this freezing ??

I would give the phones restore to rule out bad software.

If it's still bad after the restore it's possible the touch isn't connected probobly Or it's damaged..

Man I'm having the same problem. I've knever had a problem after installing a screen until the other day. It was an iPhone 4 att & like usual I installed lcd just like I installed the rest. Once I powered phone on everything was working until all of a suddenly phone just freezes up. Slider want move & I hard reset & phone seems to be fixed & their it goes again with a freeze. I'm puzzled & baffled on what to do next. I was able to get it started back by plugging in the charger. Somehow the charger seems to get it working. This makes me think that it could possibly be the dock connector or charging port assembly bad or connection. Can someone help me on this?

Hi there bhood it's a faulty screen you installed had this problem before phone freezes then you lock it and unlock and it works .. I changed the screen and that fixed it
