Screen stays black and Ipad is beeping after replacing digitizer

Hi. I´ve replaced the digitizer on my iPad and everything went nice I thought....

But when I tried to turn the iPad on nothing happens :(

If I put it on the cable or plug it into my Mac it is only beeping exactly every 6 seconds. I reopened the iPad to have a look what is happened. All cables are connected and nothing seems wrong!!!

What may cause the problem? Please help :(

Same error with the old digitizer. Im Not sure if the homebutton line is ok. May a broken homebutton cause this error? What to do now :( its broken !@#$...

Options

I would look at a faulty digitizer; you can use the old digitizer to confirm if you have saved it. You may have shorted something out during the install was the iPad powered down?
