I took the battery out of the phone and then when I put it back in it said encryption unsuccessful and sais to resume factory reset buy when I click the reset phone button nothing happens so I cant even use the phone I got just yesterday

like other android based devices you can do a hard reset, but, all data, setting gs, etc will be lost. here is a guide, use at your own risk.
